Welcome to the CTC Preceptorship Program!

Do you work near the CTC Central or Service Area Campuses in the Central Texas area? Do you enjoy working with students? Teaching them how to become a good nurse…acting as their role model? See below to learn more about the qualifications needed to become a CTC Associate Degree Nursing (A.D.N.) preceptor, the benefits of becoming an A.D.N. preceptor, and our skilled A.D.N. Preceptor Program faculty members.

What do I need to do next?

  1. If you are unfamiliar with Preceptoring, please visit How to be a Preceptor. After registering, please complete the modules on that site. Although not a prerequisite to the CTC Preceptorship program, the modules there will familiarize you with the preceptor’s role before you precept a student.
  2. Read the Program Overview from the menu to learn more about the CTC Preceptor Program.
  3. Apply to become a preceptor! Complete the Online Application OR print a blank application, complete it in ink, sign/date and submit as directed. Details...
  4. After you have applied, you will receive email notification if you have been accepted into the Preceptor Program. You will then be required to Register to create your individual account. Details...
